Carly was not only accepted into "The University of the Arts," but she won "The University of the Arts Promising Artist Scholarship". This scholarship, in the amount of $8,000, is granted to students who demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in their studies at UArts. This scholarship is renewed annually, for a four year total award of $32,000. We are, of course ecstatic! We are also very thankful to the Miss Delaware, Miss Outstanding Teen Delaware, and Miss Outstanding Teen America Boards for all their help with the development of Carly's talent, interview skills, time management skills and self-esteem. She approached the auditions with suit on and resume in hand.  As a musical theatre major, she had to audition with three of the most challenging schools at the University- dance, voice, and theatre. She showed such maturity and self-discipline throughout the auditions. We wish to sincerely thank each and every member of the board for all their help and support. Your gift is priceless and continues to grow as time goes on.
