2007 Miss America Outstanding Teen
Press Credentials Application
INFORMATION
The Third Annual Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition will
be held the week of August 7-11, 2006.
For over 86 years, the Miss America Organization has been helping
young women achieve their goals and dreams. The city of Orlando, FL,
will again be hosting this teen competition at the beautiful Linda Chapin
Theater inside the Orange County Convention Center. 52 contestants,
each representing their states along with the District of Columbia
and the Virgin Islands, will showcase their talents and compete for
over $150,000 in scholarship assistance.

APPLYING FOR CREDENTIALS:

Applications must be filled out and submitted in advance to Kristi
Gomen at kgomen@cfl.rr.com or
faxed to 407-522-9301. Upon acceptance of application, press must
check in outside the main press room to obtain their badges for the
length of their coverage time. If applications have not been
sent in advance, press are asked to fill out a form at the media
room and submit two forms of valid-photo idea upon arrival. Any

PRESS ROOM AT MAOT
The press room for the week long events will be located at the
Orange County Convention Center ROOM W221C. Press is asked to
check in daily, credentials must be picked up upon arrival and will
be good for the week of the event.
The press room at the convention center will provide phones, fax
machines, WIFI wireless internet access and wire line Ethernet
access. We encourage credentialed media to bring their own laptops.
The press room is accessible on a first-come, first-serve basis
since space is limited by reporters with credentials.
BROADCASTING LIVE AT THE CONVENTION
Companies seeking to broadcast their radio/TV program live from the
convention must apply for credentials as indicated above. Companies
broadcasting live will be responsible for their own audio-visual
costs and all logistical arrangements, including audio-visual needs
should be addressed to Kristi Gomen at the above number.

ACCEPTANCE AND NOTIFICATION
MAOT reserves the right to decline any requests for credentials.
Applicants requesting press credentials or workspace will be
notified via e-mail upon receipt of the application form. MAOT will
approve credential requests and notify your new organization of its
