MISS AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING TEEN
PROGRAM ANNOUNCES
RHONDA SHEAR AS SPONSOR AND KEYNOTE SPEAKER

FL – Miss America's Outstanding Teen (MAOT) organization
announced today that Rhonda Shear, former host of USA
Network's long-running, popular Friday night movie series,
"USA: Up All Night" and current developer of Rhonda Shear Shapewear found on HSN, will kick-off the 2008 MAOT events
as the keynote speaker at the "Shear Fun" Welcome Party on
August 7th at the Rosen Centre. The event will include a
fashion show featuring the latest in beach cover-ups,
shapewear and pajamas by Rhonda Shear.
MAOT, the "little sister" to Miss America, will host its
national competition in Orlando during the week of August
12-16, 2008 with 52 state representatives competing in
various competitions for a chance to win over $30,000 in
college scholarships and the title of Miss America's
Outstanding Teen.
The competition will be held in the Linda Chapin Theatre at
the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
"Pageants absolutely jump started my acting/hosting career
and later in life gave me the confidence to pursue my
dreams. In school and in business, one invariably will need
to speak in front of an audience. Pageants gently guide and
teach you to accomplish this task with grace and poise,"
Shear said. "I wish all of these lovely young ladies the
best of luck."
In addition, Rhonda Shear Shapewear will be involved with
the MAOT Trade Show held August 12-16 at the Rosen Centre
Hotel. On August 13th, Shear will host the Rhonda Shear
Shapewear Fashion Show at 1pm. The event is open to the
public.
Shear's Shapewear line is on Home Shopping Network and
developed out of her own personal need. "Clothes never hang
on me like a supermodel. I have curves. I'm from New
Orleans, like to cook and eat and I'm not giving that up!"
She decided that she could get rid of those extra ten pounds
at a moments notice with the right undergarments. Out of
this personal desire, Shear's, "Slip into Slim" theory was
born.

Creator of Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa and former
ABC's Bachelor will sponsor the Princess Luncheon

FL – Miss America's Outstanding Teen (MAOT) organization
announced today that Italian prince, Lorenzo Borghese,
creator of Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa and
Nuzzleplanet.com will sponsor the Royal Treatment Princess
Luncheon on August 14th at the Rosen Center. The event will
also include a keynote speaker and coronation of the MAOT
Princesses by Miss America, Kirsten Haglund and Miss
America's Outstanding Teen, Caitlin Brunell. Lorenzo
acheived nationwide recognition as ABC's Bachelor and can
currently be seen on HSN presenting his luxury pet care
product line.

Princess Program is a mentoring program for girls ages 6-12
years old.

president MAOT. "During the week of activities, the
"princesses" are paired with a teen role model and offered
courses in etiquette, acting, the entertainment industry and
even cooking! I'm honored that Lorenzo Borghese is
supporting our cause. Lorenzo is an excellent example of
someone who has been able to turn dreams of success into
reality. He's our Prince Charming!"
Borghese developed Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa when he
realized his own dog was having skin issues. Since his
family had spent generations in the skincare industry, he
used his knowledge to develop a line for pets. In addition,
Borghese launched Nuzzle Planet, which is similar to MySpace
but for pet owners instead.
"I am very excited to be involved with this wonderful
scholarship based program," said Lorenzo Borghese. "I am
pleased for the Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa to be able
to sponsor the Royal Treatment Princess Luncheon," he said.
