 The Miss
America's Outstanding Teen Contestants will take a step back
in time on Saturday, Aug 8th as they visit the Medieval Times
restaurant in Orlando, Florida. Medieval Times has been a
strong supporter of MAOT over the past five years welcoming
the contestants as their special guests and making them part
of the show.
Taylor Fitch, Miss
America's Outstanding Teen 2009, will dress in period costume
and be part of the show which features knights, princess and
of course, Taylor as the special guest Princess. All 52
contestants will also take part in the festivities throughout
the evening. Each will be introduced and carry their state
flags during the production.
"The show is
incredible and each time I see it I feel as if I've been
transported back in time," said Kim Parrish, president of
MAOT. "I appreciate the long-term support of Medieval Times
and encourage everyone to plan to attend this event. It's one
that should not be missed."
This event takes place
while 52 state representatives are in Orlando from August 7-15th
competing for over $30,000 in scholarships and the title of
Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2010. MAOT, the "little
sister" to Miss America, hosts the preliminary competitions
August 11-13th and the finals on Saturday, August
15th at 7PM in the Linda Chapin Theatre at the
Orange County Convention Center.
