MISS AMERICA'S
OUTSTANDING TEEN JEANETTE MORLAN PERFORMS IN THE CHERRY
BLOSSOM PARADE IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
MAOTeen's
Jeannette Morlan was invited to preform during the National
Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival
is an annual two-week event that celebrates springtime in
Washington, DC as well as the 1912 gift of the cherry blossom
trees and the enduring friendship between the people of the
United States and Japan.
While Jeannette was in D.C. she
covered a lot of ground in just a few days. Her first stop was
at the ABC studios where she met Alison Starling and was
interviewed about her platform the "Power of One" for Let's
Talk Live show. Then it was off to rehearsals and sight
seeing. Her adventure started at the Arlington Cementary, she
saw a Picasso painting at the National Gallery of Art and
enjoyed touching moon rock at the Smithsonian Museum of Air
and Space. After a quick rehearsal on the morning of April 10,
Jeannette enjoyed spending some time with the other parade
participants which included Miss America Caressa Cameron and
American Idol finalist Justin Guarini.
